Welcome to Third Grade! I'm so excited to have you in my class this year. We will be sure to have lots of fun and adventures this year!I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you and your families! Here is a little bit about me!
This is my mom and I at the top of the Empire State Building in NYC, in March 2013.
I grew up in Trevose, PA which is a suburb of Philadelphia. I went to Assumption BVM School in Feasterville and Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster. I then went on to college at Kutztown University of PA. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I was so lucky to find a job right away at St. Cecilia's School. I love being at SCS! This is my fourth year of teaching. Because I love learning so much, I went back to school in 2011 to work on my Masters Degree and Reading Specialist Certificate. I will graduate in December! I'm looking forward to implementing lots of the things I've learned in our classroom this year! I love spending time with my family and friends.. and my pets, too! I have a mom and dad, and an older sister named Megan. I also have a brother-in-law named Ed. I enjoy reading, taking walks, trying to cook and bake, shopping, and exploring new technology. My favorite subject is language arts and my least favorite subject is math. My favorite animal is a cat, but I also think owls are really cool!! (As you can tell by our classroom!)
This is Destiny. I adopted her from a shelter. She is an attention hog and loves belly rubs! Fun Fact: She has no teeth!!
This is Holly. I got her as a kitten at Christmas of 2009. As you can see, she enjoys helping me with my lesson plans!
This is my beagle, Copper. He passed away on February 20th, 2013. He was 12 years old.
This is my sister's cat, Whimsey. Even though he's not mine, I love him just the same. Here he is hiding out in my Vera Bradley bag! He used to live with me, but he moved out with Megan and Ed! I love visiting him and his kitty sister Mila in their new house!
